This Privacy Policy explains how Women's Beauty Salon ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the app's booking and salon-discovery features:

Permissions the app may request
Depending on how you use the app, we may ask for the following device permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and you can change or revoke them at any time in your device settings.
- Location — to find and display beauty salons near you and provide directions.
- Camera and photo library — to let you take or choose a profile photo or attach an image.
- Storage / files — to let you select a file or image to upload.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- To let you search for salons, book appointments, and view your booking history.
- To show your location on a map and calculate directions to a salon.
- To communicate with you about your bookings or account, including support requests.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the app, and to notify you of app updates.
How information is stored and shared
Your account and booking data is stored using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, which apply industry-standard security practices such as encryption in transit. Location and map features use Google Maps services. We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the app, such as Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and Google Maps for location and mapping features.
- Salons you book with, limited to the details needed to fulfil your appointment (such as your name and appointment time).
- Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by law.
Data retention
We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the app's services. If you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data as described on our Delete Account page, except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example, resolving disputes or complying with accounting obligations).
Your rights and choices
- You can review and update your profile information from within the app.
- You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Delete Account.
- You can disable location, camera, or storage permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may no longer work as expected.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
